As in years past, AABA is dedicated to providing free childcare for meeting attendees. Childcare is open to any registered participant for the AABA 2024 Los Angeles program. You do not need to be presenting in order to use this service.

Childcare at the 2024 meeting in Los Angeles will take the form of "Camp AABA -- An adventure for kids." Childcare will be FREE again this year and will be available on Wednesday, March 20 from 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM (this is a change from previous years) and from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday of the meetings.

AABA is offering two options for families coming to Los Angeles who want/need childcare on March 20-23, 2024. Families can only participate in one or the other of these options, we do not have the ability to offer a combination.

Option 1: On-Site Childcare Center

All children six years and older participating in the on-site childcare (Camp AABA) should be vaccinated against Covid-19. If your child(ren) need a vaccine waiver, please contact AABA Acting President Steve Leigh.

Taming Toddlers will continue to be the childcare service for the AABA meeting. They have provided superior child daycare services for our meeting for years. Be assured that your child will be cared for in a fun, active and caring environment while you are in your sessions.

To register please email [email protected] with the following information: Full name, telephone number, email address, children's name, age, days/times that childcare is needed, any special instructions/needs, and mention that you are attending the AABA conference in Los Angeles. Registration by March 1st is required to participate.

Option 2: Caregiver Grants

AABA can fund up to ten caregiver grants of $350. This grant is to support the costs of bringing a caregiver along with your family to Los Angeles to look after your child(ren). Each family is limited to one grant, in order to provide this support to as many families as possible. The first ten requests will receive funding. Requests must be received by March 1, 2024.
