As in years past, AABA is dedicated to providing free childcare for meeting attendees. Childcare is open to any registered participant for the AABA 2023 Reno program. You do not need to be presenting in order to use this service.

AABA is offering two options for families coming to Reno who want/need childcare on April 19-22, 2023. Families can only participate in one or the other of these options, we do not have the ability to offer a combination.

Option 1: On-Site Childcare Center

All children six years and older participating in the on-site childcare (Camp AABA) should be vaccinated against Covid-19. If your child(ren) need a vaccine waiver, please contact AABA President Steve Leigh.

To find out more about the on-site childcare center and to register your child(ren), please email [email protected] and mention that you are attending the AABA conference in Reno.

Option 2: Caregiver Grants

AABA can fund up to ten caregiver grants of $350. This grant is to support the costs of bringing a caregiver along with your family to Reno to look after your child(ren). Each family is limited to one grant, in order to provide this support to as many families as possible. The first ten requests will receive funding. Requests must be received by April 1, 2023.

If you have questions about the caregiver grants, please email AABA Treasurer Graciela Cabana.

For general questions about the AABA 2023 annual meeting, please email AABA Vice President and Program Committee Chair Kristi Lewton.
