The American Association of Physical Anthropologists ("AAPA") is committed to respecting and protecting your privacy. We've structured our Web sites so that, in general, you can visit us on the Web without identifying yourself or revealing any personal information.

This Privacy Policy sets forth AAPA's practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information. The data will not be transferred to a third party outside of AAPA without your prior consent but may be used within AAPA or by a company acting as an agent of AAPA for processing and mailing purposes. AAPA will not sell, rent, or lease your personally identifiable information to others.

As part of the order process, if we collect credit/debit card information, your information will be used to fill your order but we will never share your personal payment information with third parties.

While AAPA makes every reasonable effort to protect the information collected through its Web sites, please be aware that there is always some risk involved when submitting data over the Internet. We cannot guarantee that our Web sites are 100-percent safe from illegal tampering or "hacking." Any data transmitted over the Internet may be at risk; however, once it is received at AAPA and entered into its database, it has the same protection that AAPA extends to its own confidential information.

We track the total number of visitors to our Web site, the number of visitors to each page of the Web site, and the domain names of our visitors' Internet service providers. No personally identifiable information is gathered in this process.
