The Hyatt Regency Austin is located on the shores of the Colorado River and within a short walking distance from downtown Austin and all of the restaurants and activities available there. 

The overflow hotel and location of the Human Biology Association meetings is the JW MARRIOTT AUSTIN (110 E 2nd St, Austin, TX 78701) which is located a short distance from the Hyatt. Note that the AAPA opening reception on Wednesday evening, April 11, 2018 will be held at the Marriott. 

 The AAPA/HBA discount room rates are:

•  $289.00 for single or double occupancy.
•  Each additional person is $20.00/night.  (Prices do not include taxes).
