Dermatoglyphics Student Paper Award
The American Dermatoglyphics Association (ADA) announces a Student Paper Award which will be given for the best student dermatoglyhics paper at the Annual Meeting of the American Association of Physical Anthropologists (AAPA) in 2010. This annual award includes $500 and one-year free membership in the ADA.
The guidelines for the student paper award are as follows:
- The paper must focus on a dermatoglyphics-related topic.
- The first author must be a student in an accredited graduate program.
- The abstract must be submitted (and accepted) for presentation (platform or poster) at the annual AAPA meeting.
The ADA is a nonprofit scientific and educational organization with approximately 150 members throughout North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Asia and Australia. The mission of the ADA is to encourage and advance the collection, techniques, analysis, application, and science of dermatolgyphics, and to facilitate cooperation among the membership and others with similar aims.
