Freiburg University is currently setting up a new postgraduate one year Master course in Global Urban Health which will start in October 2016. It will include major anthropological fields such as evolutionary aspects of adaptation, sociobiology, humans in their urban environment, nutrition, growth and development, aging, and will focus on implementation of health relevant programs worldwide. Participants have also the possibility to take individual modules (5 weeks) and receive “certificates of advanced studies”.
