This year at the annual meetings in Atlanta there will be a workshop on using R for biological anthropology. R is a open source statistical computing language and environment used by many STEM professionals. Within R, individuals can create custom scripts for data processing, plotting, and analysis. The workshop is open to all students, postdocs, and faculty. It will take place on Friday from 9:30 to 11:30 in Room (A 601). The workshop will be chaired by David Pappano (Princeton University) and Zachary Cofran (Nazarbayev University).

Pre-registration and previous programming experience are NOT REQUIRED! However, you will need to bring a laptop computer with R and R Studio installed. Please see the link for a full description of the workshop and check back for updates.
