School of Human and Life Sciences, Roehampton University, London, UK Job title – Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Human Ecology - HR Ref: HR37/10 Salary - £36,020 - £47,240 p.a inc. Following an excellent result for Anthropology in RAE 2008, the university is investing in this established area of research strength, bringing together both biological and social anthropologists in the new Department of Life Sciences. Two new lectureships are being created in human ecology and social anthropology to complement and broaden the current team of 8 anthropologists. The appointees will be expected to contribute to research and publication in their area of specialism. The successful candidates will be expected to contribute to and develop teaching activities at undergraduate and postgraduate level, including the supervision of research students.
