In addition, we have several extramurally funded scholars and are expecting to grow our research agenda.
We are located in the
School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences within the College of Medicine amidst a major academic
medical center and on a campus with the largest grouping of health sciences programs nationally. Our
extensive university offers nearly limitless possibilities for collaboration and innovation. With these
elements already established, our new Division Director will have the opportunity to lead our program to
a place among the most respected programs in the country.
The successful candidate must have an earned doctorate in Anatomy or a related field and a record of
excellence as a teacher, professional leader and extramurally funded scientist. Laboratory space and a
start-up package will be negotiated based on the candidate’s needs and record of success. With our
location in affordable and family-friendly Columbus, Ohio, the new director will enjoy life in Ohio’s
largest metropolitan community with a vibrant and diverse economic and cultural base.
