--- Invitation to apply for an individual postdoctoral fellowship through the European Commission (Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions)

I am looking to host an individual fellow (PhD in hand by application deadline, 14 September 2017) who would like to pursue a research project in the area of primate behavioural ecology at Bangor University, UK.

Funded by the EU, these fellowships are highly competitive and provide a fantastic opportunity for early career researchers to acquire new skills and develop their research programme in an EU country (which the UK still is, as far as this round of applications is considered).

As your potential host, I would be interested in collaborating on projects in the area of primate behavioural ecology, broadly defined, and especially on studies of reproductive ecology and sexual selection.

As per the programme website: ‘Support is foreseen for individual, trans-national fellowships awarded to the best or most promising researchers of any nationality, for employment in EU Member States or Associated Countries. It is based on an application made jointly by the researcher and the beneficiary in the academic or non-academic sectors.’

For a full description of the programme, eligibility criteria, and the application process: http://ec.europa.eu/research/participants/portal/desktop/en/opportunities/h2020/topics/msca-if-2017.html (please read these carefully before getting in touch)

If you would like to submit a joint application, do get in touch with a brief email outlining your potential topic of research to discuss further (with a CV attached). Preparing a strong, competitive application will take a while , so the earlier you get in touch the better.

APLY BY: ASAP to discuss application; Deadline for full joint application 14 Sept
