PhD/postdoc position in computer-assisted paleoanthropology
The Department of Anthropology, University of Zurich, invites applications for a doctoral or postdoctoral position in computer-assisted paleoanthropology. The successful candidate will work on a project using advanced computational tools to address questions of Late Pleistocene hominin dispersals.
The ideal candidate has a formation in biological anthropology, population biology and/or in fields such as bioinformatics and computational sciences. The candidate is expected to have computer programming experience (c/c++ or similar), or to be highly motivated to acquire such experience during the intial phase of the project.
