Boise State University’s Department of Anthropology seeks a bio-social anthropologist at the level of full-time Lecturer for the academic year 2017-2018. Thematic and geographic area of expertise is open. Previous teaching experience is required and experience and/or interest in online teaching is a benefit. Experience in lab groups incorporating undergraduate students, graduate students, and faculty is preferred. Renewal of the position for 2018-2019 is dependent on meeting performance expectations and reapproval of funds. Applicants must be ABD or have a PhD in Anthropology.

The department is united by an underlying evolutionary framework, and often by a consideration of adaptation as a central theoretical theme.
