The IDEAS (Increasing Diversity in Evolutionary Anthropological Sciences) Workshop is a one day research and mentoring workshop in advance of the AAPA annual meeting and a mentoring network throughout the meeting. The 2018 workshop will be held April 11 in Austin. The application deadline is November 15, 2017. The workshop is open to undergraduate and graduate students with an interest in biological anthropology. You do not need to be presenting at the main meeting and you do not need to be an AAPA member. You also do not have to be an Anthropology major. The workshop is for biological anthropologists in Anthropology and other allied majors including biology, geology, psychology, natural sciences etc.  Please contact us if you have questions. 

You do need one letter of recommendation to be emailed by November 25, 2017. The workshop is funded by the National Science Foundation.
