As you begin planning for the meetings, please keep in mind items you might donate for the auction. Remember that the auction is not just an enjoyable social event—each year proceeds from the auction provide funding for additional undergraduate and graduate student travel awards. Last year, the auction made $8,000 and these funds will be used in their entirety to support student travel awards to the 2017 AAPA meetings!
If we know of items in advance, particularly “big ticket” items, we will advertise them on the AAPA website so that our members can save their pennies! The auction is held Thursday evening and donations are TAX DEDUCTIBLE!
